What does NOT require a Permit in Charlotte County

If you are planning any home renovations in Florida be in the know as to what is required to have a permit and what is not.  The people at the county office are very helpful in answering questions. It can save you time and money doing it right the first time. Here is a list from the Charlotte County website of what things Do NOT require a permit. Permits shall not be required for the following: Commercial flag poles. Commercial low voltage burglar, security, cable TV and phone installations.
