Top Florida Biking Trail

If you like to bike then you must visit the Legacy Trail and Venetian Waterway Trails in Venice. It is ranked in FL Top 10 Biking trails. I like to access the Venetian Waterway trail at Shamrock Park. From there it takes you along the Intercoastal waterway via the "Venetian waterway trail past the historic train depot and onto the Legacy Trail which takes you all the way to Sarasota bypassing Roberts Bay and Dona Bay for beautiful views and also past several parks. I use the trail to go to downtown Venice via the overpass along 41 and visit Venice Beach, Sharky's and the South Jetty.     I just love this area. Wow this post was from 8 yrs ago when I thought I was fat. Times have changed. Now I know I am. I still have that bike and would love to hit this trail more often. I now have a fear of biking alone because I broke down once and people passing by were not kind.
