Relocate to Florida- Need help searching for a home

The more details you know about what you are looking for in a home the easier it is to find. There is more to shopping than just price, size and location. Consider this- a 3 bedroom home is not enough details There are homes that have 1100 sq ft that have 3 bedrooms and there are homes that have 2600 sq ft that have 3 bedrooms A garage- will a 1 car garage suffice or do you need at least 3? if only one is the driveway adequate to get in and out and hold all the cars. My dentist recently told me that when they bought the house it was great but now his kids will be getting their license soon and is concerned about parking. Location- Where are your favorite place or places you will frequent often. It may be work, a favorite restaurant or shopping center, a golf course, park, a beach or downtown? You want to be happy with your commute. Do you want to be 5 miles to the beach or golf course- more or less. Do you want a community pool or private? How about flood zone? Flood insurance isn't always expensive. I know people who pay 600 a year for it. It depends on the elevation of home as well as location. Do you want a septic and well or Public utilities? Type of construction is important to some here in Fl. Most homes are block but there are many that are wood. Is the age of the home important to you? Do you want a home built in 2018? How about a search that shows you all homes in an area that are built after 2010? Whatever your wants, needs, or desires share with your agent every detail and they can input a search on the MLS and find your dream home.
